Protection and Advocacy Systems may be a good resource for a person with a spinal cord injury.  If your legal, human or service rights have been violated you may want to contact your State’s P & A System. Also if you are a person living in a Nursing Home and want to get out with supports and services your State’s P&A may be able to assist you or at least direct you to a relocation agency who can assist you.  You can find the Protection and Advocacy System in your State by going to the National Association of Protection and Advocacy Systems (NAPAS) website: http://napas.org/
